The Redwood Chapter Wilderness Committee investigates proposals for
new state and federal Wilderness designations in our region,
organizes lobbying efforts and grassroots support within the Chapter,
recruits volunteers for conservation and enhancement projects in
existing Wilderness areas, coordinates with the Sierra Club
California Wilderness Committee, and keeps our supportive finger on
the pulse of wilderness issues in general.
Redwood Chapter is proud to offer financial and other support to the
Sierra Club's Western Wilderness Conference to be held in Berkeley
