Napa County Sierra Club 28 June 2008, Saturday First Benson Hut Work Party Location: Donner Pass Benson Hut work party scheduled this summer for June to beat USFS fire restrictions.  Involves hiking 3 miles to the Benson Hut Saturday morning, hut maintenance Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, then hiking back Sunday afternoon. Maintenance involves stocking the hut with wood, repairs, staining and cleanup. Good exercise, wonderful setting and great fun. Loon Lake Paddle for artists and doodlers Location: Loon Lake Three days, two nights camping on Loon Lake. Bring your paints, pastels, pencils. Whether you are an accomplished artist, or like me, just like to put color on paper, this trip is for you. We will go and look for inspiration on the water or on land.
