Smittle Trail, Lake Berryessa

The PURPOSE of the Trails, Parks and Public Access Committee is

Chair: Carol Kunze(707-966-5211)

Outings are a critical element of the Sierra Club. Environmental activists are often created as a result of a personal experience with nature. The more people have a chance to appreciate and enjoy nature, the more interested they are in protecting it. This committee will work with other trail interests in Napa County, get involved in the development of parks, and support access to public land. Initial projects will include encouraging coordinated trail development to foster a county trail system, and the redevelopment of Lake Berryessa.

Members:  This is a new committee and we are looking for members. If you would like to join, send an email to the chair indicating your interest and any trail or hiking groups you are currently participating in.

Meetings:  Meetings will be irregular for some time, as need or a project arises. If you would like to attend a meeting, contact the chair.
